FETHIYE

Welcome to Fethiye ,the popular resort of Fethiye lies 50km southeast of Dalaman Airport. A hill crowned by the ruins of the crusader fortress built by the Knights of Rhodes overlooks the little port. The harbour hosts a smart, palm-lined border, where the locals often sit to drink tea and discuss the events of the day. Surrounded by 12 islands, a perfect place to stop and take in some of the spectacular scenery.  Tourism has had very little impact on the town itself, therefore retaining it’s Turkish character, making it a popular resort for all tourists.

The nearest beach to Fethiye’s town center is Calis, which is 5 km. away. This beach boasts 4KM of shingle beach where Turtles come to breed every year. The village itself is full of restaurants, bars and a bustling nightlife.

Twelve KM east of Fethiye lies the most famous  Olu Deniz (dead sea) National Park. Probably the most photographed beach in Turkey and with good reason too. It boasts a sheltered lagoon, not always visible from the sea, which attracts thousands of tourists (and locals) every year. A spectacular backdrop of mountains where  Para-gliders go to great lengths to devour this beauty.

Just a short ride away from Olu Deniz is the old farming village known as Hisaronu. Attracted by tourists who prefer the countryside and pine-clad hills. A wide selection of cafes, restaurants, bars and nightlife  to keep you dancing into the early hours.

In all areas of Fethiye you will find markets, bazaars and the modern supermarkets to fulfill your everyday needs. How lucky for us if we have been able to offer you the sincere hospitality of Mediterranean people as far as we can speak and we can do, during the adventure of one century that you have experienced in such a short time
